Seventh-day Adventists, in Partnership with ADRA, Praise COP26 and will Launch a Global Climate Change Project, while Distancing themselves from Present Truth Ministries

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is adopting the same secular viewpoint on climate change being proposed by COP26, Pope Francis and other globalists. This secular view is one that completely ignores the Holy Scriptures and promotes the radical hysteria that our human civilization will come to an end within the next 10 years or less unless immediate and bold action is taken. On October 29, 2021, the Scottish Mission of Seventh-day Adventists released the following official “statement in response to the COP26 event.”

“The Scottish Mission of Seventh-day Adventists believe that our world is a gift from God and that we are His stewards instructed to manage the natural environment in a faithful and responsible manner. As such we want to take this opportunity to announce the Scottish Mission Climate Action Project in partnership with ADRA which will be launched on 9 November 2021. The project includes our short-term and long-term plans to tackle the issue of climate change on a local and global level.”

The statement basically says that Seventh-day Adventists fully agree with the popular climate agenda. The problem with the current climate movement is that ecology has become a pseudo-religion that embraces spiritualism. Our culture presents the earth and the cosmos as the center of all that we are and all that we must do. Nature is being presented as the object of our reverence and adoration. Animals, trees, water and the material world are placed on the same level as God. When Seventh-day Adventists publicly praise COP26 and do not publicly rebuke the worship of Mother Earth, we blur the line between truth and modern paganism.

Instead of publicly distancing themselves from the radical climate change religion espoused at COP26, the church has instead chosen to publicly distanced themselves from Amazing Word Ministries, a present truth ministry that is currently visiting Glasgow to distribute thousands of copies of the book the Great Controversy at COP26. Instead of distancing themselves from the beast and the image and the false prophets of Revelation, Seventh-day Adventists are making public statements telling the world that they are not part of those who are distributing the Great Controversy book. Notice what else the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Scotland declared:

“We would also like to use this opportunity to advise that we have been made aware of an initiative by Amazing Word Ministries International to distribute thousands of books, including Great Controversy and other independently published books, at COP26 in Glasgow … Amazing Word Ministries International is not supported, funded by, or affiliated with the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist Church which includes the Scottish Mission.”

Why would we lie to the world and tell them that the Great Controversy book is an “independently published book”? Adventists are disavowing the message that is contained in the book the Great Controversy and are instead publicly avowing the secular ideologies of the world. The new mission for these end-times and our most urgent message is no longer the one contained in the book the Great Controversy. Now we have replaced God’s warning with the new ecological end-time message from COP26. And rather than publicly committing ourselves to a global program to distribute the Three Angels’ Messages, as contained in Great Controversy, we prefer to embark on a “local” and “global” mission to “tackle the issue of climate change.”

We reached out to Amazing Word Ministries and its director, Emmanuel Nougaise, for a comment on this situation. We basically asked him what he was doing in Glasgow that would justify such a “worldwide” public repudiation by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Emmanuel Nougaise responded with the following:

“I am not doing anything different than what we have been told to do in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. We are only giving the message for this time as it is contained in the book the Great Controversy, and by the grace of God, we are spreading them like the leaves of autumn. I am with a team of faithful and dedicated Seventh-day Adventists here in Glasgow during COP26 and we are trying to warn people and make them aware of what the real agenda is and who is the main actor, which is Pope Francis and his encyclical on climate change, Laudato Si’. This papal encyclical calls for the implementation of Sunday to solve the climate crisis. This is the Sunday law that we are warned about in the book the Great Controversy, the Three Angels’ Messages and the Loud Cry message of Revelation 18. We are not doing anything new.”

Let us pray for these efforts in Glasgow and for all the truth-filled books that are reaching the people. Pray also that God will open the eyes of these blind leaders who are replacing the pillars of our faith with socialist and communist ideologies on the environment, as contained in the UN 2030 agenda. At this late hour in earth’s history, it is clear that our people are no longer just being deceived; no, we are now joining the end-time deception mechanism that will deceive others by advocating Catholic solutions for the world. Let us not forget that the Antichrist is presenting himself as the greatest ecologist and ecumenist in the world, and we are being led straight into his arms, at full speed. #sda #adventist #adventista

God denounces Babylon “because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”…
God made the world in six days and rested on the seventh, sanctifying this day, and setting it apart from all others as holy to Himself, to be observed by His people throughout their generations. But the man of sin, exalting himself above God, sitting in the temple of God, and showing himself to be God, thought to change times and laws. This power, thinking to prove that it was not only equal to God, but above God, changed the rest day, placing the first day of the week where the seventh should be. And the Protestant world has taken this child of the papacy to be regarded as sacred. In the Word of God this is called her fornication Revelation 14:8.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:979 (1900). LDE 123.1 – LDE 123.2

I was directed to this scripture as especially applying to modern spiritualism: Colossians 2:8: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

Thousands, I was shown, have been spoiled through the philosophy of phrenology and animal magnetism, and have been driven into infidelity. If the mind commences to run in this channel, it is almost sure to lose its balance and be controlled by a demon. “Vain deceit” fills the minds of poor mortals. They think there is such power in themselves to accomplish great works that they realize no necessity of a higher power.

Their principles and faith are “after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Jesus has not taught them this philosophy. Nothing of the kind can be found in His teachings. He did not direct the minds of poor mortals to themselves, to a power which they possessed. He was ever directing their minds to God, the Creator of the universe, as the source of their strength and wisdom. Special warning is given in verse 18: “Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.”

The teachers of spiritualism come in a pleasing, bewitching manner to deceive you, and if you listen to their fables you are beguiled by the enemy of righteousness and will surely lose your reward. When once the fascinating influence of the archdeceiver overcomes you, you are poisoned, and its deadly influence adulterates and destroys your faith in Christ’s being the Son of God, and you cease to rely on the merits of His blood.

Those deceived by this philosophy are beguiled of their reward through the deceptions of Satan. They rely upon their own merits, exercise voluntary humility, are even willing to make sacrifices, and debase themselves, and yield their minds to the belief of supreme nonsense, receiving the most absurd ideas through those whom they believe to be their dead friends.

Satan has so blinded their eyes and perverted their judgment that they perceive not the evil; and they follow out the instructions purporting to be from their dead friends now angels in a higher sphere.

Satan has chosen a most certain, fascinating delusion, one that is calculated to take hold of the sympathies of those who have laid their loved ones in the grave.

Evil angels assume the form of these loved ones and relate incidents connected with their lives and perform acts which their friends performed while living. In this way they deceive and lead the relatives of the dead to believe that their deceased friends are angels hovering about them and communing with them. These they regard with a certain idolatry, and what they may say has greater influence over them than the word of God. These evil angels, who assume to be dead friends, will either utterly reject God’s word as idle tales, or, if it suit their purpose best, will select the vital portions which testify of Christ and point out the way to heaven, and change the plain statements of the word of God to suit their own corrupt nature and ruin souls. With due attention to the word of God, all may be convinced if they will of this soul-destroying delusion.

The word of God declares in positive terms that “the dead know not anything.” Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6: “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.”
Deceived mortals are worshiping evil angels, believing them to be the spirits of their dead friends. The word of God expressly declares that the dead have no more a portion in anything done under the sun. Spiritualists say that the dead know everything that is done under the sun, that they communicate to their friends on earth, give valuable information, and perform wonders. Psalm 115:17: “The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.”

Satan, transformed into an angel of light, works with all deceivableness of unrighteousness. He who could take up the Son of God, who was made a little lower than the angels, and place Him upon a pinnacle of the temple, and take Him up into an exceeding high mountain to present before Him the kingdoms of the world, can exercise his power upon the human family, who are far inferior in strength and wisdom to the Son of God, even after He had taken upon Himself man’s nature.
In this degenerate age, Satan holds control over those who depart from the right and venture upon his ground. He exercises his power upon such in an alarming manner. I was directed to these words: “Intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.”

Some, I was shown, gratify their curiosity and tamper with the devil. They have no real faith in spiritualism and would start back with horror at the idea of being mediums. Yet they venture and place themselves in a position where Satan can exercise his power upon them. Such do not mean to enter deep into this work, but they know not what they are doing. They are venturing on the devil’s ground and are tempting him to control them. This powerful destroyer considers them his lawful prey and exercises his power upon them, and that against their will. When they wish to control themselves they cannot. They yielded their minds to Satan, and he will not release his claims, but holds them captive.

No power can deliver the ensnared soul but the power of God in answer to the earnest prayers of His faithful followers.

The only safety now is to search for the truth as revealed in the word of God, as for hid treasure. The subjects of the Sabbath, the nature of man, and the testimony of Jesus are the great and important truths to be understood; these will prove as an anchor to hold God’s people in these perilous times.

But the mass of mankind despise the truths of God’s word and prefer fables. 2 Thessalonians 2:10, 11: “Because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.”

The most licentious and corrupt are highly flattered by these Satanic spirits, which they believe to be the spirits of their dead friends, and they are vainly puffed up in their fleshly minds. Colossians 2:19: “And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God,” they deny Him who ministers strength to the body, that every member may increase with the increase of God. 1T 296.1 – 1T 300.2

During the G20 Summit in Rome, Joe Biden said with Emotion that He takes Great Solace in His relationship with Pope Francis

On October 31, 2021, world leaders pledged to achieve zero carbon neutrality to tackle the effects of climate change during the G20 summit in Rome. They also pledged hundreds of billions of dollars to help poor countries adapt to the climate crisis. And during the closing of the G20 summit in Rome, President Joe Biden got emotional as he spoke about his personal relationship with Pope Francis.

Joe Biden was asked about Pope Francis to which he replied: “I just find my relationship with him (Pope Francis) one that I personally take great solace in. He is a really, truly, genuine, decent man. This is a man who is someone that is looking to establish peace and decency and honor not just in the Catholic Church but generically. When I want, he calls me to tell me how much he appreciates the fact that I focus on the poor and people who are in trouble … He is a fine, decent and honorable man and we keep in touch.”

The union between the two beasts of Revelation 13 has been sentimentally and emotionally established. This fact cannot be missed when you watch Joe Biden speak about Pope Francis. They will soon solidify their working relationship and their love for each other through legal enactments. Joe Biden is working to accelerate the fulfillment of Bible prophecy; therefore, it won’t be long before we see the reappearance of an oppressive, dominant and persecuting church as described in the following words: “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” (Revelation 13:15).

The G20 is fully on board. Make no mistake; the final fulfillment of these prophetic events will affect the lives of all people everywhere.
