With which of these two classes shall we identify our interest? We are now making our choice, and we shall soon discern between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. Read the fourth chapter of Malachi, and think about it seriously.

The day of God is right upon us. The world has converted the church. Both are in harmony, and are acting upon a short-sighted policy.

Protestants will work upon the rulers of the land to make laws to restore the lost ascendency of the man of sin, who sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The Roman Catholic principles will be taken under the care and protection of the State. This national apostasy will speedily be followed by national ruin. The protest of Bible truth will be no longer tolerated by those who have made not the law of God their rule of life. Mrs. E. G. White

Then will the voice be heard from the graves of martyrs, represented by the souls which John saw slain for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ which they held; then the prayer will ascend from every true child of God, “It is time, Lord, for thee to work: for they have made void thy law.”

When our first parents fell from their high estate through transgression, God’s law was made void. Then Christ entered upon his work as a Redeemer, and probation was granted to the inhabitants of the world.

In Noah’s day, men disregarded the law of God until almost all remembrance of him had passed away from the earth. Their wickedness reached so great a height; violence, crime, and every kind of sin became so intensely active, that the Lord brought a flood of water upon the world and swept away the wicked inhabitants thereof.

But mercy was mingled with judgment. Noah and his family were saved. In the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, we see that the Lord will interfere; fire came down from heaven and destroyed these wicked cities.

From time to time the Lord has made known his manner of working. He is mindful of what is passing upon the earth. And when a crisis has come, he has revealed himself, and has interposed the working of Satan’s plans.

He has often permitted matters with nations, with families, and with individuals to come to a crisis, that his interference might become marked. Then he has let the fact be known that there is a God in Israel who would sustain and vindicate his people.

When the defiance of the law of Jehovah shall be almost universal, when his people shall be pressed in  affliction by their fellow men, God will interpose.

The fervent prayers of his people will be answered, for he loves to have his people seek him with all their heart, and depend upon him as their Deliverer. He will be sought unto to do these things for his people, and he will arise as the protector and avenger of his people.

The promise is, “The Lord will avenge his own elect, which cry unto him day and night.”

The Protestant governments will reach a strange pass. They will be converted to the world. They will also, in their separation from God, work to make falsehood and apostasy from God the law of the nation.

In the place of those who have the light of truth allowing jealousy and evil surmisings to come in and weaken their love and union one with another, their united prayers should ascend to heaven for the Lord to arise and put an end to the violence and abuse which is practised in our world.

More prayer and less talk is what God desires, and would make his people a tower of strength.

Pope Francis: Preserve God’s Creation or Face God’s Judgment

Pope Francis has reached peak climate hysteria with his new remarks about facing God’s judgment. This fear tactic is meant to manipulate the leaders gathered at COP26. On November 9, 2021, Pope Francis asked Catholics to pray for a fruitful outcome during the climate talks at the COP26 gathering. He said that the climate crisis is “one of the great moral issues of our time” and that “time is running out; this occasion must not be wasted, lest we have to face God’s judgment for our failure to be faithful stewards of the world he has entrusted to our care.”

Climate change is “one of the great moral issue of our time?” Where is that expressed in the 10 Commandments? It seems that all the hysteria and doomsday predictions about the end of the world due to the climate crisis have failed. The so-called arguments about “science” and the melting ice caps, historic droughts, mega fires and other natural disasters have not been enough to scare people to act on reducing greenhouse gas emissions (CO2). Now Pope Francis has added the additional threat of facing “God’s judgment” for not acting immediately on fossil fuels.

Again, where in God’s law does it talk about fossil fuels? Will using coal, oil and natural gas bring God’s judgment on us? Is this the new gospel, and has “energy” become the “great moral issue” today? That’s what Pope Francis is communicating to the world. Why does the Pope insist on destroying the gospel of Christ with this new green propaganda? This is not what the word of God says. God’s wrath will not fall on the world because we power our homes and vehicles with carbon-based energy. This is deliberately distorting biblical truth while ignoring the real moral issues of today.

God’s judgments will fall on sin and disobedience (Romans 1:18-23). The gospel of Christ addresses the moral wickedness of man. It is a message that reproves the fashionable sins of the time and calls men and women to turn away from them. But this is not what the popular churches are doing today. We are no longer emphasizing our moral duties that we owe to God in keeping His commandments. And when apostate Christianity fails to give these biblical warnings and instead uses its influence to spread climate hysteria, they too will be the recipients of God’s judgments (Ezekiel 33:7, 8). #sda #adventist #adventista

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

Already there are coming in among our people spiritualistic teachings that will undermine the faith of those who give heed to them.

The theory that God is an essence pervading all nature is one of Satan’s most subtle devices. It misrepresents God and is a dishonor to His greatness and majesty.

Pantheistic theories are not sustained by the word of God. The light of His truth shows that these theories are soul-destroying agencies. Darkness is their element, sensuality their sphere. They gratify the natural heart and give license to inclination. Separation from God is the result of accepting them.


Our condition through sin has become preternatural, and the power that restores us must be supernatural, else it has no value. There is but one power that can break the hold of evil from the hearts of men, and that is the power of God in Jesus Christ.

Only through the blood of the Crucified One is there cleansing from sin. His grace alone can enable us to resist and subdue the tendencies of our fallen nature. This power the spiritualistic theories concerning God make of no effect.

If God is an essence pervading all nature, then He dwells in all men; and in order to attain holiness, man has only to develop the power that is within him.

These theories, followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They do away with the necessity for the atonement and make man his own savior.

These theories regarding God make His word of no effect, and those who accept them are in great danger of being led finally to look upon the whole Bible as a fiction.

They may regard virtue as better than vice; but God being removed from His position of sovereignty, they place their dependence upon human power, which, without God, is worthless.

The unaided human will has no real power to resist and overcome evil. The defenses of the soul are broken down. Man has no barrier against sin. When once the restraints of God’s word and His Spirit are rejected, we know not to what depths one may sink.

Those who continue to hold these spiritualistic theories will surely spoil their Christian experience, sever their connection with God, and lose eternal life.

The sophistries regarding God and nature that are flooding the world with skepticism are the inspiration of the fallen foe, who is himself a Bible student, who knows the truth that it is essential for the people to receive, and whose study it is to divert minds from the great truths given to prepare them for what is coming upon the world.

I have seen the results of these fanciful views of God, in apostasy, spiritualism, and free-lovism. The free love tendency of these teachings was so concealed that at first it was difficult to make plain its real character.
