President Trump has been prayed for in the Oval Office by over a dozen Christian leaders.
A White House Faith Office was established by the US President shortly after he took office earlier this year. He said it would help combat “anti-Christian bias” and “empower faith-based entities, community organisations and houses of worship to serve families and communities.”

This week’s meeting was led by Paula White-Cain, who is Donald Trump’s spiritual adviser. Among those present were Rev Samuel Rodriguez of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and William Wolfe, the executive director of the Centre for Baptist Leadership.
Several of the leaders placed their hands on the President in prayer as he sat at the Resolute Desk.
Rev Wolfe posted : “It was a huge honour to represent @BaptistLeaders and meet @realDonaldTrump today along with other Christian leaders and pray for him in the Oval Office…
“It’s been an incredible day—been keeping this under wraps until it happened, but can’t wait to share more!!”

First Baptist Dallas Pastor Robert Jeffries said: “Honoured to lead a prayer today for our great president @realDonaldTrump!”
Rev Rodriguez told The Christian Post that the gathering felt more like a “family reunion”.
“It felt real, it felt authentic,” he said. “It was just an incredible gathering.”

“With gratitude and humility, we pray for President Trump. You assigned him, you appointed him, you anointed him for such a time as this. We ask You to cover him with the blood of Jesus, empowering him to advance an agenda of righteousness and justice, truth and love.

Fogel’s family thanked Trump and others who worked to secure his release.
“We are beyond grateful, relieved, and overwhelmed that after more than three years of detention, our father, husband, and son, Marc Fogel, is finally coming home,” the family said in a statement.
